Pacific Crest Engineering
Inc. (PCEI) is a full service geotechnical, chemical process and
environmental engineering firm providing engineering services to
both the public and private sectors of the Monterey Bay and
Silicon Valley areas. Founded in 2001, the firm principals
have over 50 years of combined consulting experience within the
local area. We are committed to providing exceptional quality and
service to our clients, most of
whom have worked with our staff for many years.
News for 2011:
Our firm is now certified by the Division of the State Architect (DSA)
for soils compaction testing and concrete field sampling work (LEA
#270). Our company is also certified by CAL TRANS for soils,
asphalt and concrete testing. In addition, our lab is
an AASHTO (AMRL) Accredited laboratory.
Our Field Technicians are
now certified by NICET, ICC and CAL TRANS
for soils compaction testing. We also have Field Technicians who are certified by ACI
and CAL TRANS for concrete field sampling work.
We are also qualified to provide Independent Assurance (IA) testing
as required for federal and state funded projects such as the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Elizabeth Mitchell is now Vice-President of the Geotechnical
Engineering Group. She has recently been certified as a
Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) and Qualified SWPPP Practioner (QSP).
